Challenges Facing Women Academics in Zimbabwe

The woman academic has several challenges affecting her professional development in Zimbabwe. This is because of the multiple roles that women take up in society in general and the work place. For instance, being someone's child, a mother, a lecturer, a researcher and a mentor. Women take care of their children before themselves. Then there is the spouse and the extended family, not necessarily in this order.
